Making Our Mark at DallasMeetup

Dallas Meetup brings together hundreds of DFW's entrepreneurs, creatives and business leaders for an evening built around connection. For their latest event, Cryptid Theory had the opportunity to help shape both the digital and physical experience.

From a stadium-scale digital takeover wrapping the venue to a live art activation happening right in the middle of the crowd, the goal was to create an environment that felt unmistakably Dallas Meetup—and give attendees a chance to make their own mark on it.

The experience started overhead.

Cryptid Theory designed the digital signage that transformed the venue, including the massive central display and wraparound ribbon graphics that gave the space the energy of a stadium takeover.

Rather than treating the screens as individual pieces of signage, we approached the venue as one connected canvas—building a visual system that carried the Dallas Meetup identity throughout the space.

Then we brought the experience off the screens and into the crowd.

Throughout the night, attendees were invited to contribute to a collaborative live artwork built around a simple idea: Make Your Mark.

Guests added their own strokes to the piece while Cryptid Theory continued developing the artwork throughout the evening—turning something normally watched from a distance into something the community leaders helped create.

One event. Multiple canvases.

Screens. Walls. Installations. Experiences.

The most interesting brand moments don't have to live in one medium. Cryptid Theory creates visual experiences that can move from digital to physical—and give people a reason to stop, interact and remember.
